Finca Adalgisa | ARG004

  • San Rafael, Mendoza

 11 Rooms  22 persons  11 Beds  11 bathrooms

Located in a friendly village on the outskirts of Mendoza,  in Argentina, Finca Adalgisa has as principle to welcome guests as if they were part of the family Furlotti, who has lived there for three generations. The centennial property, where Malbec grapes are planted and harvested for the production of around 5,000 bottles per season, is today in the hands of Gabriela Furlotti, who personally welcomes travelers and tries to transform their stay into a delicious experience. The wine produced on the spot is accompanied by several tapas and the classic Argentinean meat cuts. By the way, the “asado” (barbecue) in the farm of the Furlotti is a sensory show to keep for the rest of the life. And, unlike other establishments, Finca Adalgisa does not receive visitors of occasion, everything that is there is exclusive for its guests.

The centennial property has a total of 11 accommodations, divided into two categories (standard and suite). Three rooms are in the Old House and another eight in the Stone House, closer to the pool. Each one has different characteristics, with its own decoration and architecture. All are equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, minibar, king-size or single beds, heating, safe, Wi-Fi, iPod docking station and telephone, among other amenities.

There are six units, three of them in the charming facilities of Old House and the other three in the rustic Stone House. Some have a fireplace, some with a bathtub. All offer a romantic and bucolic air and measure from 30 to 35 square meters.

There are five spacious and unique units, each have 50 to 65 square meters. They are in the middle of the vineyard and provide a lot of privacy and quiet. Some have a balcony and a living room, as well as a fireplace and a kitchenette.

Rustic and elegant, Finca Adalgisa occupies an area of almost 20 thousand square meters, more than half dedicated to the vineyards and gardens with fruit trees. Guests enjoy different spaces, among them the Old House, Stone House, the refined Wine Lounge Bar, a beautiful open-air swimming pool, beautiful gardens with fountains and, of course, the centuries-old Malbec grapevines, a kind of grape originally French that adapted to perfection in Argentina. In addition, there are also many olive trees, from where the excellent olive oil produced on the site is extracted. To enjoy all this experience, with beautiful views of the vineyards, the hotel opts to remain closed during the winter, from June to October.
