Villa Ferry is just eight metres from the river, as well as famed pub The White Swan. Ham House and Richmond Park are just across the river, while Marble Hill Park, renowned for its ties with King George II, is a two-minute walk away.

This lovely villa, once a nursery, has a nice patio and a well-kept lawn, where a swing and play set allow children to play and have fun for hours. There’s also a custom-built wooden playhouse for children to enjoy.

The crisp and stylish kitchen beneath the skylights is well equipped with everything from a Teppanyaki grill to plate-warming drawers. Just beyond is the sitting room , which is a restored billiard hall built in the early 1900s. Here there’s a mix of rich-leather textures and grey hues, making it cool and inviting.

The ground floor follows an L-shape, punctuated with full-length windows and light wells. Three bedrooms are on this level with en-suite bathrooms. The master bathroom is the most impressive, with a wet-room style shower and shimmering tiles.

Downstairs are the two children’s bedrooms, decorated with wall stickers and photographs.
