Vila Joie Joá is located at Ponta da Joatinga, one of the most beautiful and exclusive areas in Rio de Janeiro.

Joie Joá offers three high-standard suites: Mer Suite, Îlle Suite, and Famille Suite, which features an adjoining room ideal for comfortably accommodating children or teenagers.

For stays longer than a week, the house also provides an independent loft with an extra suite, private living room, balcony with sea view, and a small kitchenette.*

Spacious living room with balcony and sea view. The house offers a pool overlooking the ocean and Barra da Tijuca Beach, steam sauna, and daily housekeeping service for guests.

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and wi-fi internet.

Includes: housekeeping and caretaker services. Working hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break.

The host will be available by phone and message throughout your stay, as will the house staff, to meet guests' needs.

Joá is a residential and exclusive neighborhood, with few residents and only three small condominiums. The condominium provides 24-hour concierge and security.

Access to the condominium can be made by car or helicopter.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT INFORMATION

As we want a careless stay for our guests, we do not like surprises for both. This is why we recommend you to read all below.

•Standard check-in time 3 PM and standard check-out time 10 AM.

•A flexible check-in or check-out time is possible. The policy applies only when booking calendar allows it (no guests checking in or out on the same day).

•You will be charged 200 BRL fee for check-in and/or check-out at non business hours (before 8 AM and/or after 6 PM), weekends and on bank holidays.

CLEANING

•A cleaning fee is applied. The flat will be clean for your check-in and clean bedding and towels are provided.

Bookings with 7 nights or longer: you will get an extra cleaning during the middle of stay for free: where we will fully clean the apartment, change bedsheets and provide you new towels. Like hotel services.

GUESTS

•Number of guests must be indicated in the booking request. Adding more guests after the booking will be allowed only if agreement is reached.

•Any other person in the property is the responsibility of the Guest

SAFETY

As is the rule in Rio de Janeiro, before the checkin all the Guests staying at the property have to send us full name and passport number or ID which we will leave at the reception. For security reason building needs to know who is staying, this is an official access.

CANCELLATION

•Cancellation policy is “strict policy". Guest can find the cancelation policy on the booking confirmation.

RESPONSIBILITY

•All of the properties are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.

Guest shall be responsible for any fines that may be incurred due to violation of any laws, the convention or internal regulations of the building in which the flat is located. Payment of the fine shall be made before departure, as soon as homeowners are notified as to the motive and value of said fine.

GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION

In the case the guest gets into trouble with the police involving illegal drugs or anything other illegal conduct in Brazil, homeowners will not be able to assist guest in any way, and will proceed to eviction of guest immediately with no refund.

•Breaking terms of the contract.

•Disturbing the neighbors, loud parties, prostitution, negligence, drugs, property damage or any other detrimental conduct.

•No loud parties or noises must be made after 22:00 (Brazilian Law states that loud noises must be stopped by 10PM).

•If expulsion occurs, the guest will receive notification by the doorman or homeowner.
