Have you ever wondered what it would be like if, instead of the large and bustling city, you lived in a quiet fishing village? At Rancho do Peixe, you don’t have to guess. Located in the paradisiacal Preá beach, this hotel provides all the luxury that simplicity can offer. With your feet in the sand, you will live a true nature immersion experience. Rancho do Peixe is composed by bungalows inspired in fishermen houses, with all-local staff, one of the best Kitesurfing structure in the country (they are also a Kitesurfing school), and a natural garden to supply the restaurant.

ROOMS

Designed by renowned architect Gui Mattos, the 26 bungalows at Rancho have been carefully built with materials typical of the region, on decks above a level above the ground to enable the natural ventilation in the region. All of them have 80sqm and feature a pleasant balcony with hammocks and lounge chairs, and are equipped with 1 double bed, 2 single beds, ceiling fan, in-room safe and private bathroom. The decoration shows the attention to detail and appreciation of local culture. They resemble the small fishermen houses, with all the comfort and charm of a boutique hotel. Truth is: you will want to make Rancho your new home.

Beach Bungalow

There are 14 beachfront bungalows, gifted with a natural ocean breeze that only Ceará’s trade winds can provide.

Coconut Grove Bungalows

Spread around in the hotel’s coconut grove Garden, are 12 charming bungalows – utmost peacefulness.

Note: none of the accommodation have air-conditioning. The wind is so constant and refreshing in this region that, truly, it is not necessary! Forget all about a TV as well, the idea is that you enjoy every minute of this paradise and disconnect from the World for a few days.

STRUCTURE

Rancho do Peixe is located in a beachfront, 200,000sqm area, on a coconut trees farm, without any neighboring constructions. Every detail in the hotel is designed to preserve the local culture and way of life. Starting with the foundation structures, all built with reforested wood and carnauba straw, typical of the region.

At Rancho, the staff believe and acts towards making a difference and contributing with the integrated development of their community. For example, they promote campaigns to raise awareness on various issues such as waste sorting, recycling, and maintain an organic vegetable garden that supplies the hotel restaurant with fruits and vegetables.

The hotel has a restaurant, a pizzeria and a bar, all of them with complete and diverse menus offering snacks, drinks, traditional northeastern and international meals, plus a unique menu for vegetarians and an authentic Italian pizza. Everything is freshly prepared upon request, and served keeping the style of local cuisine! The Beach Bar is the official meeting point for kite surfers, serving healthy snacks, light salads, açaí and refreshing drinks – all of it sided by a beautiful ocean view!

For the more adventurous guests, Rancho’s Kite, one of the World’s best kitesurf schools operates inside of the hotel, next to the Beach Bar. All instructors are IKO certified (International Kiteboarding Organization), as well as trained in first aid courses, and are able to teach students in several languages. The equipment is often renewed, meeting all of the security requirements for practicing, including a radio system attached to the helmet, helping the students to receive instructions, even when you out it in the ocean.

Rancho do Peixe also has a spa with stunning ocean views, offering massages, skin treatments and therapeutic body care. After all, nothing better than relaxing after an active afternoon!

On Brazil’s most seductive island, a small inn with just 11 rooms has turned into the most coveted address in Fernando de Noronha. Since opening in November of 2016, Pousada Maria Bonita has become a reference in exclusive hideaways for those looking to enjoy all of that spectacular nature in a setting that blends rustic and contemporary. Designed by decorator Ângela Chinasso, the décor harmonizes a finely selected collection of works of popular Brazilian art with the contemporary design of the furniture and the pool – created by Jóia Bérgamo. At the same time, the neutral tones of the roots, baskets and wood trellises add a refined simplicity to the interior, in contrast with the exuberance of the green and blue of the Noronha’s forests, sky and beaches.

The 11 spacious rooms at Pousada Maria Bonita were planned so that guests could experience the warmth of a luxurious, extremely comfortable beach house. The rustic-chic décor is complemented by the quality of each detail, from the Trussardi bedsheets to the L’Occitane bath products, from the minibar to the hair dryer. Air conditioning and wireless internet are available in every room. The 48-inch full HD TVs allow you to kick back and enjoy cable channels after a day filled with sun, swimming and outdoor activities.

Luxury Suite

Located on the first floor of the inn, the five Luxury Suites are no less than around 30 m² in area, with a private bathroom, a king size bed and a lovely veranda where you can relax at night, admiring the stars and listening to the sounds of the fauna.

Superior Suite

With original décor that highlights Brazilian culture, the five Superior Suites are different from the Luxury Suites essentially for their location on the inn's upper floor. The other amenities are the same.

Maria Bonita Suite

The most spacious of the accommodations is named after the inn because it combines all the best features that Maria Bonita has to offer, from the design of the furniture to perks like the coffee and tea kit in the bedroom, the state of the art shower and large balcony.

Vila Barracuda is a small and intimate boutique hotel in the heart of Itacaré village, in the fishermen shore. Due to its location, the Hotel works as a great starting point for those who enjoy experiencing the local culture and exploring nature. Vila Barracuda is in front of the encounter of Rio de Contas (Contas river) with the Atlantic Ocean and only a few steps away from the main street and the beaches of the village.

The Hotel has only 9 rooms, divided into 4 categories, all with air conditioning, minibar, ceiling fan, safe box, Wi-Fi and homemade bathroom amenities. The suites are spacious and perfect to accommodate the family together!

Double Room

Comfortable and cozy, albeit being the entry-level category of the hotel. Located on the ground floor, the 30sqm units have impeccable service, testifying the luxury of simplicity.

Standard Suite / Terrace & Hammock

Also on the ground floor, they have and an exclusive small terrace with a hammock to relax at the end of the day.

Superior Suite / Balcony & City View

On the first floor, the Superior Suite has a beautiful balcony with views to the city and 40sqm of very well distributed space. This suite also has a sofa bed and can accommodate 3 people very comfortably.

Master Suite / Balcony & Sea View

The Master Suite is the Hotel’s most special accommodation. There are 75sqm, enough space to offer a special experience for a couple or host a family, as if necessary, it is possible to connect this suit to another room. A spacious balcony places hammocks for a rest with an unique view of the fishing boats in the sea.

In the midst of a shady grove and considered an oasis of tranquility, Etnia Pousada & Boutique is set in exquisite natural surroundings. It offers extremely comfort ethnically decorated accommodation with a mix of kitsch and authenticity.

The Pousada offers 2 Villas and 7 themed suites. The decoration follows the theme of each one. All accommodations have a terrace and private garden and are equipped with all essential amenities for guests, such as Swedish pillows, Egyptian cotton sheets, air conditioning, minibar, cable TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe, room service, wireless internet access and balcony.

Master: There are 2 Master Suites: GIPSY and MEDITERRANEAN. The Master suites differ from Double Suites by size and the elegant indoor gardens. Also there is a living room attached providing more privacy.

Double: There are 5 Double Suites Each one particularly charming and cozy: TRANCOSO, COTTAGE, TRIBAL, KYOTO and GOA.

The Etnia has four special Villas called in Iorubá language: Ibó, which means adoration place , Ebatí which means temple, Ojulé which means home and Alafiá, which means peace and happiness.

Because of the structure and the distance between the villas, they are ideal to host families or couples in complete privacy and comfort. They are fully equipped, allowing guests the freedom to choose to cook during their stay or enjoy the full restaurant and hotel services.
