Villa Relax'...

Villa Relax's grounds are lushly landscaped with palms, Mediterranean vegetation and even a grand stand of bamboo and a cactus garden. These gardens are laced with numerous patios and pathways wandering by koi ponds, waterfalls, and graceful wooden bridges crossing the property’s streams.  Two swimming pools are set within the grounds. A clifftop infinity edged pool faces the sea near the main house, and a second Olympic sized pool with 40 meter lanes faces the sunsets on the west side of the property.  Outdoors, guests may also enjoy playing tennis on the artificial grass court or golfing on the 3 hole course and short game training pitch.  Indoor recreation opportunities include a fully equipped gym for staying in shape, or the pool table, table tennis, and foosball tables for the less strenuously sports-inclined.

Blau Badia is a refurbished traditional Spanish finca, featuring the heavy wooden beams and materials of the original structures, modernized with contemporary features. It is comprised of a main house and two guest houses.  The main house hosts a large living room, featuring an open fireplace, which opens to the pool and sea views through floor-to-ceiling glass to the al fresco dining, lounging and bar area.  An additional outdoor dining area sits at the back of the house, nestled in the gardens. The bedroom wings on the ground floor are situated on either side of the living and dining areas, providing privacy.  Upstairs, the master suite boasts a private balcony hosting a Jacuzzi seating eight.  A private balcony also fronts the fourth suite, upstairs. The lower level of the main house hosts the home cinema, games room and an Ibiza-style bar-lounge and party room.

Four additional bedroom suites are found in the two guesthouses. Each guesthouse also hosts a living area, kitchen, and indoor and outdoor dining and living areas.  The lower level of the first guesthouse holds the fully equipped home gym and an infrared sauna, while the second guesthouse boasts an amazing rooftop terrace and lounge.

Near the very top of Gouverneur, Villa Rose is a newly constructed property offering splendid views over St. Barth’s wild island hillsides, St. Jean Bay and the Caribbean sea. This luxurious rental home was thoughtfully designed as a collection of individual structures connected by decks and the pool. In this way, the villa is fully integrated into the landscape while each bedroom enjoys a great degree of privacy. With the four bedrooms in separate bungalows behind the main house, Villa Rose is an excellent choice for groups of friends who want to share their vacation together, but also sometimes apart, as the spaces are clearly delineated but everything is close to the heart of the action.

A remarkable rental accommodation on its own, Villa Rose can also be expanded into luxurious compound for larger vacation gatherings. It is situated very close to Villa Jasmine and Villa Olive, with which it shares its graceful design sensibility. All three are the work of English interior designer Catherine Pawson. The villas also boast a collection of stylish and comfortable furniture from the design studio of Christian Liaigre. Sibarth allows guests to easily rent all three together.

Villa Rose offers a clean-lined, grandly scaled take on St. Barth style. Thick, square columns form colonnades where the pavilions end and the reflecting pools, koi ponds and swimming pools begin. The experience here can easily go beyond indoor-outdoor living: This is indoor-underwater living.

Between the columns, tropical and desert plants edge right up against the living spaces, creating a captivating interplay of shadows as the sun moves across the sky. Of course, the real showstopper views are the wide panoramas over the northern side of St. Barth and the sea down below, as well as the 18-meter-long infinity pool (heated in winter) that stretches out along the deck. The white-on-white décor is elegant and understated, conceived to keep the focus on nature.

Upon arriving, you’ll discover an open living pavilion with plentiful seating for conversation, and gentle island breezes wafting through. To either side is an enclosed space, one containing an air-conditioned living room, and the other a stainless-steel chef’s kitchen and dining table that seats eight. A second, covered dining terrace is outside.

Behind this main pavilion, are the private bedrooms, all with king beds, private terraces with gazebos, plunge pools and plenty of entertainment options. Two are a few steps from the living areas, while the last two are even more secluded, in their own little enclave down a hill, and share a pool and a patio with a gazebo.

Drawing inspiration from the streamlined 1960's elan of its SoCal namesake, as well as from the ingenious works of the renowned architect Dame Zaha Hadid, Villa Springs glows with the energy of a clear aesthetic ideal. The main structure of the property refines and reinvents the West Indies "case," the simple one-story design of four walls and a pyramidal roof seen throughout the islands. Here the roof is elevated above the interior living space until they are effectively separated, and the kitchen, living/dining area, and master bedroom suite comprise a free structure beneath the peaked roof. This "cube within a cube" is shifted by just a few degrees so that it faces slightly more west than the exterior walls around it, accentuating its independence and guiding the viewer's eye to the blue horizon as well.

Villa GEM's large living area and kitchen are completely open to the terrace, pool, and spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea, thanks to an ingenious system of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. Two entire walls vanish out of sight without any supporting columns remaining, breaking down the definitions of indoor and outdoor. Just outside the living area, a hardwood dining table seating ten is sheltered by a cantilevered roof. During the morning, the living area and the convenient and open kitchen appear as a cool refuge from the sun, while they are fully illuminated by sunlight throughout the afternoon. In the evening, well-placed recessed and indirect lighting give the space a warm and welcoming ambiance. The wide deck around the infinity pool offers the comfort of chaises in the sun as well as a shaded seating area beside the garden of bougainvillea and coconut palms.

The master bedroom suite continues the same level of design consciousness, with custom cabinetry in Brazilian wenge wood, polished concrete floors and carefully planned lighting. The ensuite bath offers facing Jack and Jill vanities and a pebble-stone tiled, rain-head shower. Villa Springs' three other bedrooms, each with its own private bath, reflect the stylistic influence of the master bedroom re-imagined in different color schemes. The woodwork and upholstery throughout evoke an updated sense of 1960's lines and form, perfectly adapted to a tropical setting. In a crowning touch right out of a Bond film, one of the bedrooms provides a picture-window view into the crystal-clear water of the infinity heated pool. Also on the lower level is an air-conditioned fitness room with treadmill and step machine, as well as a secluded outdoor space perfect for yoga or massage.

At the crest of the hill that tops the exclusive Pointe Milou neighborhood, Villa Seaweed expresses itself in unique and thoughtful designs in every way possible: landscaping, architecture and decor. The path to the house is flanked by a sea of fountain plants and pine hedges reminiscent of a home in the Hamptons--only the giant blue agave beside the house reminds you that this is the Caribbean. Once inside, you are greeted by the welcoming sight of the three-tier bassin and heated pool all year around, a teak sun deck amid a jumble of purple bougainvillea blossoms, and a wide green lawn.
